Fundraise for Us

Thank you for considering supporting CMST with a fundraising event or activity in support of our music education programs. Below you will find ideas on various fundraising initiatives. Planning an event or activity in support of CMST is an excellent way to get involved and join a group of allies also committed to music education.
Ideas include:

Concerts and benefit shows – Host a concert, featuring local talent and emerging artists. Charge a ticket price for entry and donate the proceeds to CMST.
A-Thons! Dance, bowl, bike, run and more – Turn any fun activity into a fundraising event by asking friends and family to donate. You can set up your own online personal fundraising page on JustGiving to ask for donations online.
Special Occasions – Celebrate a birthday, graduation, or milestone by inviting friends and family to make a donation in lieu of gifts. A personal fundraising page makes it easy collect contributions online.
Tournaments such as golf, hockey, trivia, or even pickleball! Any sport or game can become a fundraising tournament event.
Endurance challenges – Are you running your first marathon? Planning a long-distance bike ride or multi-day hike? Transform your endurance goal into a fundraiser for CMST, and invite others to support your personal challenge.
Community Sales – Bring people together with a bake sale, arts & crafts, garage sale, car wash or record sale. Use these simple, creative ways to raise funds while building community.
Workplace Fundraising - Networking events, holiday parties, after-work socials and even silent auctions are great ways to encourage your workplace to raise funds for CMST. Ask your employer if they will match donations.
You can also fundraise online for CMST through JustGiving, an easy-to-use online giving platform that allows supporters to create your own personal fundraising page. You can customize and personalize your fundraising page, including why you’re supporting CMST and your own call to action for support.
Are you ready to get started? We at CMST will help guide you through the planning process and provide you with the tools, resources and support to organize a successful fundraiser.
